Ava O’Flynn

Bio

Ava O Flynn  is a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in improving  healthcare outcomes for patients by leveraging technology. Ava completed her  undergraduate degree in Medical and Health Sciences with University College  Cork where she graduated with a first class honours degree. During her time  at university, she demonstrated a passion for the concepts of Neuroscience  and Pharmacology and also that of Translational Medicine, eventually going on  to co-founding the first ‘UCC Translational Medicine Society’ in Ireland.

Areas of  Interest

Upon  graduating, Ava joined the Accenture Life Sciences Graduate Programme where  she worked at the forefront of digital transformations for Global  Pharmaceutical Clients. During her time at Accenture, Ava honed the art of  building business cases for the use of digital to reinvent enterprises  through use of the latest technology eg. GenAI.

What you  hope to achieve from the programme?

I hope to leverage this expertise during her time as a DigiBio fellow,  specifically through the lens of a patient/ clinician centric approach to  maximise adoption of prospective technologies.
